June Cheng is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. She is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She received a B.A. in Sociology, with a minor in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California.

June was born and raised in San Francisco. Her great grandfather practiced herbal medicine in China in the early 1900's, and her grand aunt was one of the first practitioners to initiate the legalization of acupuncture in California. Her uncle was a respected Chinese medical practitioner in China who specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and rare cases.

For over four decades June has pursued her interest in learning and practicing the traditional healing art of Chinese medicine. After a successful practice in Los Gatos, California, June moved to the Coachella Valley and has been living and practicing in Palm Desert since 2005.
